The purpose of this event was to help "promote the inclusion of, and support for, individuals with movement disabilities and disorders in enhancing their physical capabilities." Working as a volunteer, I helped in preparing different things for the conference the next day. We put up signs around the building and then strung and tied name tags for all who would be attending. It was great getting to work with other volunteers who were enthusiastic about the event. It was our responsibility to get things done in order to prepare for the event. I learned the importance of team work and how it contributes to the success of the event as a whole.
