Transformational Teaching & Learning Conference

The purpose of this conference was to attract Texas A&M faculty and engage them in a conference that provided them with quality development opportunities. I had the opportunity to not only participate in this conference as a volunteer for registration, but I got to be a part of a team that was responsible for creating a program plan for next years conference. Although at times it is overwhelming looking at all the things that need to be done, it has been an amazing learning experience seeing all the different aspects that go in to planning an event like this. Now that I have experienced the ins and outs of organizing a conference, I have a better understanding and appreciation for the event coordinating industry.
